Erath County Warrant Records

Review how visitor information is handled before entering details in a search tool or following a records link. Check the destination first. Erath County’s District Clerk, County Clerk, and Sheriff’s Office operate their own official services in Texas, separate from the sponsored tools shown here. Each destination has its own practices for information you supply. A request to a public office and a query sent to a search provider are different transactions. This policy explains the visitor-data practices of this private reference and the limits of its control over outside services.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

Inputs entered into a sponsored search box are sent to the outside provider responsible for that search. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our side of the service. The provider’s treatment of them is addressed in its own policy.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If you email us, we retain the message to handle the reply. It remains within our team unless disclosure is legally required. Do not use a website message as a substitute for a filing, appearance request, or public-record request to an Erath office.

Data We Gather Automatically

Page visits can produce technical information in server and traffic records. This includes the device’s IP address, browser and version, operating system, device type, referral source, visited pages, timestamps, and time spent on pages.

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files placed on a device. We use them and analytics services to understand traffic and how pages perform. Browser controls let you block cookies, though some features may work differently afterward. Analytics can show aggregate usage patterns without being a court-record search.

What We Do With This Data

Visitor information supports the operation of the reference and its associated services. The uses include maintaining availability and page speed, identifying technical failures, understanding which material visitors use, sending queries to the relevant search partner, and showing advertising that may reflect interests.

Those operational uses do not create a public warrant record. A visit to an Erath court-information page does not become an official court inquiry through this site.

No Warrant Data on File

We do not maintain, host, compile, or sell a database of personal warrant information. Our pages explain official Erath County record routes, including district and county clerks, municipal and precinct courts, and Sheriff-held agency records.

The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, concerns public agency information and exceptions. It does not make this private reference an official records office. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.

Third-Party Search Partners

Search partners control their own retention, processing, and sharing of the information entered in their tools. Their privacy terms apply to that activity. We do not set those practices or promise a particular retention period for a provider.

Read the partner’s policy before you submit a query. The sponsored tool is separate from the official county or municipal portal you may choose to visit.

Links to Other Websites

A link to a court, sheriff, state service, legal resource, or outside search provider takes you to another operator’s website. Its privacy policy governs the information you provide there. We do not control an external site merely because it is linked from a local reference page.

Advertising partners may also track activity across websites for targeted advertising. That processing occurs on their systems and is governed by their practices.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with services needed to operate the site and fulfill the uses described above.

  • Search providers processing a submitted query.
  • Analytics services evaluating traffic or performance.
  • Advertising networks placing advertisements.
  • Government or law-enforcement bodies when a valid legal requirement compels disclosure.

These categories do not mean the Erath Sheriff receives a visitor’s search as an official warrant request.

How We Protect Your Data

We use standard security practices to protect the information we collect. Online systems nevertheless carry risks, and no security measure guarantees that unauthorized access or a breach can never occur.

We cannot extend a security guarantee to a separate search provider, official portal, or other external destination. Review its own practices before sharing sensitive details.

Users Under 18

This reference is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people younger than eighteen. If we learn that a minor has supplied personal data to us, we will remove it promptly.

A parent or guardian who believes such information was supplied should notify the site operator. This policy does not open confidential juvenile court files or replace the authorized court process for obtaining them.

Your Data Rights

Applicable privacy or consumer-protection law may give additional rights depending on residence and circumstances. You may request a copy of information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, or an opt-out from certain processing.

Those visitor-data requests are distinct from an Erath County public-information request. The District Clerk, County Clerk, and Sheriff answer requests for their own records under the rules that apply to those offices; we cannot amend their files through a privacy request here.

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy as practices or services change. The version published here will carry a revised effective date when updated. Review the current text when deciding whether to share information.

Effective date: October 18, 2026.
